Abstract(in English) This paper introduces a novel method for measuring a pointing gesture and visualizing the estimated target in communications among persons who are looking at the same contents typically on a large display or a projector. In this method, the system does not visualize the pointed location by a small point or cursor, but shows it by the probability density of the estimated position based on the noise of measurement and the accuracy of pointing gestures. This visualization reduces the required cost of gesture adjustments for the pointing person. This paper explains the idea based on the control model of pointing, and the shows the performances by some experimental results.
