Analysis of Emotion during watching 3D TV by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy

Abstract(in English) Makers have developed products that correspond to diverse values of consumers. However, it has become necessary to add new value. In the case of TV, as an additional value, the TVs that are possible picture expression by stereoscopic vision (hereinafter called "3DTV") have developed. In this study, at the beginning, we measured the brain functions during recall of comfort and discomfort using with Near-Infrared Spectroscopy as preliminary experiment. Next, we compared the brain activities between during watching an 3DTV and a usual movie. We examined introduce of fractal dimension. The result showed that oxy Hb increased in the preliminary experiment. However, in the proper experiment, the decrease of oxy Hb were shown.
