Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses 1) flexible wireless transmission and radio resource management (RRM) techniques, 2) medium capacity and low latency wireless transmission, and 3) heterogeneous networking technologies to flexibly support sustainable and continuously growing human societies in the next 10 years. To flexibly support wireless transmission and RRM techniques, this paper will discuss relationship between adaptive transmission and flexible RRM techniques. For medium capacity and low latency schemes, the meaning to set low latency as the highest priority will be discussed. Then the actual and necessary situations for introduction of heterogeneous networking rather than homogeneous networking will be discuss in the last part.
