Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) IEEE802.11e realizes QoS control by classifying packets into four access categories, storing them for transmission cues, and transmitting them depending on the priority of each access category. However, there is deterioration problem of communication quality if traffic increases in high priority levels. This quality deterioration is caused because packet loss becomes easy to occur by network congestion caused by traffic increase. In this paper, we propose a method to realize QoS guarantee if traffic load is high. This method dynamically changes the size of each buffer by the resource reallocation depending on the utilization of the transmission buffer of each access category when traffic increased, and traffic load became higher. We evaluate the validity of the proposed QoS control method by simulations.
