A New High Speed Algorithm to Evaluate One-to-all Reliability

Abstract(in English) As the result of recent economic growths in developing countries, they start to build their infrastructure, including telecommunications networks, more advanced ones. However, we see that the situation of building infrastructure in developing countries is quite different from advanced countries, because developing countries feel normal that some areas experience high reliability while others experience low in the same country, today and near future. Therefore, some researchers proposed a reliability measure called one-to-all reliability to be used for developing countries considering such situation. However, we still have a problem because its evaluation becomes intolerably long if the network size becomes large, except for using the approximation method assuming that the components of telecommunications networks are high reliable. However, this assumption is not reasonable because developing countries often use low reliable components, such as wireless system (easily damaged by sudden showers in tropics) and we sometimes need to evaluate reliability just after earthquake. Now this paper first proposes a new evaluation method for one-to-all reliability which never needs this assumption.
