| 抄録(和) | 近年,モバイル環境下において日常的に大容量通信を行うユーザが増加している.その結果,帯域資源の逼迫によってアプリケーション利用時のユーザの体感品質が低下してしまうという問題が生じている.本研究では,アプリケーション利用時のユーザの体感品質を決定づける要因であるユーザコンテキストに着目した, QoE制御システムを提案する.本稿では,モバイルトラヒックの大部分を占めると予測されているプログレッシブダウンロードの技術を用いたアプリケーションにおける,コンテキストの異なるユーザの利用形態をモデル化し,そのモデルに基づいて,ユーザの状態をコントロールすることで通信を制御する方式の検討を行う.シミュレーションによってユーザの効用を求め,提案制御方式を評価し,有効性について検証する. |
| 抄録(英) | In the recent years, users perform massive communication daily under mobile environment. As a result, the quality of the services experienced by users at the time-sensitive applications will deteriorate because of the limitation of bandwidth resources. In this research, we discussed what factors determines the quality of services directly experienced by users at the time-sensitive applications. Then, we decided to focus on the context of users as one of the key factors. We investigated and modeled the context of users in video streaming applications using the technology of the progressive download, which is predicted to occupy the great portion of mobile traffic. This paper proposes and examines the system that controls communication networks by controlling users' conditions based on our user-context model. The validity of the proposed system is discussed by agent simulations. |
