Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have studied Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) which operate a device using EEG. In a prior study, we found value of event-related synchronization (ERS) is higher than other reference when we used the Cz reference. In this study, we examined laterality of ERS or event-related desynchronization (ERD) using the Cz reference when 4 subjects perform the right or left index finger tapping imagery. As a result, subject S2 had significant laterality of ERS. However, the other subjects didn't have significant laterality of ERS. All the subjects didn't have significant laterality of ERD. Therefore, it was suggested that the control of BCI is difficult except subject S2.
