Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Post-ischemic hyperperfusion was observed a few days after transient middle cerebral artery occlusion (tMCAO). We acquired T1, T2 weighted and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) image of magnetic resonance image (MRI) from forty rats for investigation the reason why hyperperfusion was observed. T1 weighted and ADC image after twenty-four hours of occlusion were correlated with the hyperperfusion ratio between 48 and 24 hours of cerebral blood flow (CBF). Post-ischmeic hyperperfusion should be related the tissue damage indicated by MRI images.
