Abstract(in English) | Developmental disorder is a common childhood psychiatric disorder. It is commonly accepted that this type of disorder result from a brain dysfunction. Nevertheless, the causes are not entirely understood. Proper instruction and education for children with developmental disorder in their early age will help them in social participation and independent living. However, the children with developmental disorder often have difficulty in concentrating on their study because of hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention symptoms. Therefore, it is important for the parents or the teachers to distinguish whether the child can concentrate in study or not. EEG studies of ADHD have typically reported elevated absolute and relative theta activity, on the other hand lowered alpha and beta activity. In this study, we developed a system which is able to record EEG and ECG signals without restraint using the wireless EEG amplifier, and is also able to record moving activity using acceleration and angular rate sensors. |
