Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Near infrared spectroscopy is one of the non-invasive technique for measurement of brain blood flow by using near infrared light. In this study, we would like to get an understanding of the response of SMID people when they hear their name. As a pre-stage, we measured brain blood flow with healthy person to get control data. We prepared two types of task design, one is block design, and the other is event-related design containing Subject's own name (SON). Increase of Oxy-hemoglobin was observed at the prefrontal lobe in the event-related design.
