Abstract(in English) We have proposed a drifting sensor network for sewer inspection with low cost and easy, in which multiple nodes monitor the inside of pipes and send the data to multiple access points. In this system, in order to save power consumption, each node switches active nodes periodically. In this paper, we propose a novel active node selection algorithm HEED-SFCA and evaluate the algorithm through simulations. Simulation results show that proposed algorithm is effective to monitor wide range of sewer pipes with small battery.
