Information Gathering Method for Wide Area Sensor Networks using Information Converting to Wireless Physical Parameters

Abstract(in English) We have proposed the simple information gathering method based on frequency and timing assignment for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In this method, each Sensor Node (SN) transmits information by sending the tone signal with a frequency mapped from sensed data at two time slots indicating the positional data. Although the method only requires simpler communication than the standardized protocols based on packets communications, sometimes the received signals include false data in addition to data sent by SNs. The redundancy can cause a low accuracy of information estimation, in particular Wide Area WSNs. In this paper, we propose the efficient estimation method for Wide Area WSNs based on information gathering with wireless physical parameters. In the proposed method, the information sent by SNs is iteratively estimated by utilizing previous gathered signals with updating the shift of frequency mapping of each SN every information transmission. By updating the shift of frequency mapping of each SN according to the position, the cells including false data are also shifted. Therefore, the fusion center can get information of SNs' position from multiple previous gathered signals and estimate information sent by SNs with high precision.
