Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed the frequency conversion data gathering method as a novel wireless sensor network with simple sensing information transmission. The method with frequency conversion can gather sensing information from multiple terminals faster than conventional packetized methods, because the sensing data is directly converted to the subcarrier number of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal. However, the number of simultaneous transmission terminals is limited because the time slots are used for identification of each terminal. In this paper, we propose a simultaneous data gathering method for supporting a large number of terminals by assigning a frequency hopping (FH) pattern to each terminal. Simulation results show that frequency conversion data gathering method using FH achieves better performance in a multi-terminal situation.
