Study of congestion control for large-scale wireless mesh networks

Abstract(in English) Wireless mesh networks can be expected to be large scale due to its flexibility and economical efficiency. In such the large scale wireless mesh networks, terminal-to-terminal communication in the networks increases. It is anxious about occurrence of communications focusing to a specific area from the whole network, so that the congestion control of traffic is an important issue in such the large scale wireless mesh networks from the view point of QoS. In this paper, a new traffic congestion control scheme, especially traffic restriction control at origination nodes is proposed. It is aiming to improve the communication quality of the whole network as well as to avoid congestions.
