Abstract(in English) The number of APs as hotspots and mobile routers including tethering stations is increasing. Hence, adjacent channel interference in 2.4GHz WLAN is concerned because of its availability in outdoor environment. In this paper, the distance between 2 APs where throughput starts to fall is measured in outdoor environment. Measured value is compared with estimated value that is calculated by assuming IEEE 802.11a/g spectrum mask as transmitting waveform and receiving filter of AP. In addition, the cause of degradation in throughput due to adjacent channel leakage is analyzed with the sequence data of sended frames derived by capturing WLAN frames.
