Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication has been paid much attention as a new communication paradigm to increasing mobile network traffic. Since M2M communication terminals send data periodically, access requests on mobile core networks are concentrated at a specific timing. Considering the fact that most of such M2M terminals would accept a certain amount of delay in their cyclic communication, we propose a scheduling method of communication timing to mitigate traffic concentration. By extending the back-off mechanism, our method balances the access load on mobile core networks while satisfying requirements on communication delay.
