Abstract(in English) The ZigBee is introduced in the smart home network. The wireless LANs (WLANs) already have been introduced in the home network. The ZigBee interferes with the WLAN because both the ZigBee and the WLAN use 2.4 GHz frequency band. We have proposed the interference avoidance method between the ZigBee and the WLAN for improving the transmission success ratio of the ZigBee. In the proposed method, if the WLAN detects the signal for ZigBee, the WLAN changes the access parameter, DIFS. In this paper, we evaluate the proposed method using actual equipment to show its effectiveness.
