Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) DTN(Delay Tolerant Network) has attracted attention as communication technique under the condition where a communications infrastructure became unusable by a wide area disaster or the like. DTN is a communication technique using the direct communication between the devices. When power supply is short, it is assumed that a mobile device is disconnected from the network and becomes impossible to transfer important information such as the safety information or the damage situation because the device becomes running out of battery. In this paper, we propose communication methods that utilize the multistage threshold of the remaining battery capacity for communication, so as to improve efficiency of battery utilization of network in the communication system using the message ferrying technique.
