Abstract(in English) | Towards the implementation of Si photonic devices for long-haul, metro, and access telecom networks, we developed Si-Ge-silica photonic integration platform. Waveguide devices integrated on the platform exhibited promising performance. In addition, we fabricated WDM receiver consists of SiOx AWG and Ge PD array on this platform, performed long-distance transmission experiment, and confirmed error-free detection of 12.5-Gb/s signal after 40-km transmission. |
