Abstract(in English) We report on ultrashort optical pulses using a Mach-Zehnder-modulator-based flat comb generator(MZM-FCG) and dispersion-flattened dispersion-decreasing fiber. 1ps pulses generated by using the MZM-FCG were compressed into ultrashort pulses of 80fs by soliton compression. In addition, we demonstrated our femtosecond pulse source has frequency tunability in the range between 10 and 18GHz.
