Basic Dynamics of Manifold Piece-wise Linear Systems on Torus

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we consider the basic dynamics of manifold piece-wise linear systems on torus. The systems on the torus are equivalent to systems having many equilibrium points. The systems can exhibit various chaotic phenomena and the trajectories do not diverge. The dynamics can be simplified into one-dimensional piece-wise linear return map. Using the return map, the chaotic dynamics can be analyzed theoretically. In order to characterize the system dynamics, we introduce the quad-screw manifold piece-wise linear systems and compare the dynamics with the systems on the torus.
