Abstract(in English) Space-division-multiplexing (SDM) in multi-core fiber has been recently demonstrated to have a potential to increase transmission capacity of a single-core fiber. In this paper, we demonstrated 6,370-km SDM transmission of 264-channel 25-GHz-spaed quasi-Nyquist-WDM 18-GBaud DP-QPSK signals using a full-C-band high-power seven-core EDFA and a 45.5-km seven-core fiber with enlarged Aeff. We confirmed the feasibility of 100-Tbit/s-class transoceanic transmission. In addition, the capacity-distance product was achieved to be over 700 Pbit/s・km.
