Abstract(in English) We extend our investigation on a recently proposed concept for distributed optical frequency division multiplexing (CO-OFDM) by fiber frequency conversion for locally defined exact channel mapping based on free-running lasers. Nyquist wavelength-division multiplexing with narrow guard band is experimentally demonstrated by using the proposed scheme. The removal of local frequency/phase fluctuations on free-running lasers is investigated with the proposed scheme. Locally defined precise subcarrier addition into a vacant slot of CO-OFDM signal is demonstrated. A 12.5-GBd QPSK-signal is added into an exact frequency slot to generate 200-Gb/s CO-OFDM at a free-running remote node with uniform performance among subcarriers.
