Abstract(in English) This paper shows a comparison of the number of transmission equipment including regenerators, network cost and power consumption depending on transmission reach of the 400-Gb/s-based signal between the flexible-line rate network using 100-Gb/s and 400-Gb/s-based signals and the single-line rate network using 100-Gb/s-based signals.
