Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is expected that the percentage of elderly people aged 65 or more to the total population (aging rate) will be exceeded from about 25% in 2012 to 30% in 2030. The fact suggests that many of the elderly couple family will move to solitary elderly households in rapidly in 10 or 20 years after. The death of elderly people living alone has a problem already today. And various services have been proposed, but none of them have become a perfect solution. In this study, we propose a new method for detecting the life crisis of older people applying speech recognition technology. More specifically, detection non-usual sound (for example, sound of a person fall) that does not appear in the day-to-day and not detecting usual life noise for a long time are usuful. At the beginning of this report, comparative evaluation experiment of a continuous DP matching method, which is a conventional speech recognition method and the new word spotting method based on line detection from the distance matrix image. Then, instead of the 10 th to 12 -order of mfcc which is used in the normal speech recognition in common sense, the more order of mfcc are applied and proved that mfcc 20 orders are better than the lower order mfcc.
