Abstract(in English) With a wide spread of Smartphones and a high-speed transmission by LTE (Long Term Evolution), more reliability of networks is required. Transmission devices all over Japan are observed and controlled throughout transmission NW-OpS (Network Operations System). Today, a measure devised to deal with superannuated devices composing an supervisory and control network to connect the transmission NW-OpS and the transmission devices is sought. Also it is required for the supervisory and control network to speed up and reduce delays. Construction of a new network using Ethernet devices and a migration to the new network are noticed as recent problems. This paper describes a summary of the supervisory and control network and methods of the migration from the current network to the new Ethernet network.
