Formula for functional size estimation to evaluate cost reduction effect by data commonalization in OSS development

Abstract(in English) In order to decrease developing cost of OSS, we have proposed the data cornmonalization approach that shares data among systems. We also have developed a sample application that implements this concept to show the feasibility of the concept, and proposed a method to evaluate the effect of data cornmonalization using it. In this paper, we apply the proposed method to the sample application and derive the formula for functional size estimation.
