Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Network function virtualization allows network nodes in telecommunication network to share servers in resource pool among multiple nodes. Furthermore, scale-out-based architecture enables more flexible resource control of network nodes. We proposed a network control server middleware that allows application developers to use these functions without being aware of the distributed processing and the resource pool. In this paper, we show the maintenance and operation problems to ensure reliability and availability in case of wide-area fault such as failure of the data center unit, network partition, and disaster. We also show the methods to solve these problems by applying our proposed network control server middleware.
