Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the purpose of efficient use of frequency spectrum, cognitive radio technologies have been attracting a great deal of attention. However, in order to clarify the effectiveness of the cognitive radio technologies, it is necessary to measure spectrum usage ratio accurately and we proposed a new spectrum usage ratio measurement method using cumulative distribution function of received signal power of each frequency block. This paper describes optimization of detection threshold that affects the measurement performance and evaluation results of the measurement performance according to received SNR, packet length and so on by computer simulations.
