Abstract(in English) Wavelength characteristics of a plasmonic waveguide-type bandpass filter using two rectangular cavities are evaluated by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. When the refractive index in each cavity is chosen to be 2, there are two peaks of transmittance at λ=0.84 and 1.12μm, respectively. Then, we investigate wavelength characteristic in which the asymmetry is introduced into the cavity geometry. Finally, analytical expressions are adopted to evaluate the characteristic impedance. The obtained reflection coefficient agrees well with the result of the FDTD method.
