Abstract(in English) Peak load Shifting and Electricity Charges Reduction Realized by Electric Vehicle Storage Virtualization Department of Information and Computer Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University This paper proposes a new Electric Vehicle (EV) batteries ownership virtualization technique to control charge/discharge time to minimize busy period electric power supply from the grid. The proposed method uses a genetic algorithm to achieve highly stable network. The proposed method enables to expand the usage of EV battery. The computer simulation result shows that the proposed method can reduce electricity charges by average 11% per day compared to conventional scheme. The proposed EV storage virtualization technique can increase total energy efficiency and reduce energy cost when employing real-time pricing (RTP).
