Abstract(in English) In Japan, elderly people are rapidly increasing and their opportunities of using hospital are also increasing. However, in a large hospital consisting of many medical departments, it is difficult for elder to reach their destinations smoothly. To solve this problem, a guidance system that can be used in hospitals is attracting attention. In this paper, we propose a new realtime indoor guidance system using Personal Handy-phone System (PHS) and Android device for visitors in hospitals. The experimental evaluation of proposed system has shown that the developed application can guide users to destinations with accuracy of 100[%].
