Abstract(in English) Our research group is developing a system called "Air Target" that detects the finger location of the user from a camera equipped on the optical see-through HMD with markerless image processing, and displays a cursor on the same position in the virtual surface through calibrating difference between a camera view and line of sight of user. Air Target system may promote utilization for wearable computing by enabling that user can designate the physical or virtual objects displayed on the HMD directly. This study obtained the implementation suited for computation in a single HMD through evaluation for fingertip recognition about operational performance, delay, detection accuracy, and operational feeling.
