Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) If the disaster (ex. terror and fire) occurs, a lot of people can`t be calm judgment in the buildings of urban areas, stations and schools. Typically, living or death is determined by evacuation method less than one minute. The authors are presented to evacuees; 1) The evacuation behavior is collected by sensors, 2) Evacuees exchange and share sensor information by ad-hoc communications, 3) Automatically detection of a disaster, 4) Calculation of the appropriate escape route, 5) Voice and screen display. We have been developing ERESS to achieve fully automatic evacuation within one minute after the disaster outbreak. The conventional method, was judging people either normal or danger using the SVM (Support Vector Machine) from the acceleration sensor data. However, behavior classification rate of people is about 60% at best in this method. In this paper, we propose a new method using the angular velocity in addition to the acceleration. We find it can detect more detailed behavior of people in disaster.
