Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We present a scheme for VANET routing protocols. The scheme uses multiple forwarder nodes to forward data and uses network coding to reduce the number of required transmissions, resulting in a significant improvement in end-to-end packet delivery ratio with low message overhead. The scheme can be used with any VANET routing protocols by simple modification. The effectiveness of the scheme is evaluated by using both theoretical analysis and computer simulations.
