Abstract(in English) Recently, the autonomous moving navigation systems have been enthusiastically researched in the world as the technology for assisting the walking of aged and physically handicapped people. In the development of these systems, the most important element is to control the moving of a robot like electric wheelchair. The existing autonomous moving navigation systems need to consist of several kinds of sensors, cameras, and wireless communication devices to control a robot correctly and safely. Then, these systems become very complex. So, in this paper, we propose a new moving control method of a robot using only RFID system in order to simplify the system. RFID is popular, inexpensive, and very easy to store information in an RFID tag. The feature of this system is to be able to control correctly the moving of a robot by using useful information in RFID tags. To show the effectiveness of the proposed method, we carry out the performance evaluations by computer simulations. As the results, the proposed method is able to control the robot's moving safely and smoothly by only RFID tag's information.
