A Linear Transformation method in Consideration of Conservation of Energy

Abstract(in English) We proposed a nobel image interpolation method, previously. In this method, pixel values are assumed as local area energy, and interpolated pixel values are calculated in conservation the energy. Integration of pixel values is interpolated by B-Spline surface. Pixel value on any coordinates is estimated by partial differentiation of the B-Spline surface. In this report, a new linear transformation method based on this principle is proposed. Conventional linear transformation is processed by interpolation from source image pixel values which coordinates is calculated by inverse transformation. In the proposed method, pixel values of the transformed image is derived as integrated values of partial differentiation of the B-Spline surface. This integration is calculated using Gauss-Legendre quadrature.Experimental result on 9-times 10-degree rotate transformation shows that the proposed method achieves higher image quality than conventional methods.
