Abstract(in English) Under the large-scale disasters such as the giant earthquakes and heavy rain storms, a large number of people will be isolated mainly in the mountain areas due to the serious damages on roads and communication networks. We developed a rapidly deployable wireless bridge using small unmanned aircrafts to cope with this situation. This paper overviews past field trials to evaluate the feasibility of the system.
