Abstract(in English) We are investigating Food Log and its real use in our daily life. Food Log is a multimedia tool for food recoding. We developed Food Log for Smartphone, and made it available for public use, and started acquisition and analysis of multimedia Food Log data . Differing from the ordinary text based food recording, smartphone-based Food Log has a unique feature that it makes use of food images and assists the user to record food via image recognition. We present the outline of smartphone based FoodLog.
