Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Superconducting single photon detector array for visible to near infrared wavelength region is expected as promising technology achieving ultra high speed operation, pseudo photon number resolving, spatial resolving, and so on. In order to develop large scale SSPD array system, device fabrication, system development, and signal processing scheme are essential technologies. In this paper, we introduce the current R&D status of SSPD array system in our group. We report on successful fabrication of four pixel SSPD array, and verified their superconductivity and optical characteristics. The successful operation of four pixel SSPD array connected with single flux quantum circuit installed in a GM cryocooler system.
