Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We study investigated the emergence of communication under non-zero-sum game conditions, where the interests of the participants differs. As a communication tool, the player can use sound signals whose meanings are not specified beforehand, We conducted the experiment on two conditions, i.e., a sound condition where sound signals are available, and a soundless condition where sound signals are not available. and verified the usefulness of sound signals. On sound condition, tho pairs who used more sound signals earned higher scores. The average score on soundless condition is even lower than the average score of pairs who failed to share the signal meanings on sound condition. This result suggests that even if the meaning is not specified beforehand, sound signals are effective in communication.
