Abstract(in English) | In this study, the sound field rendering using the surrounding microphone and the loudspeaker arrays is applied to the auralization. It is easy to record ultra multi-channel contents virtually with the sound field rendering. The interpolated wideband (IWB) scheme which is one of the compact explicit finite difference time domain (CE-FDTD) methods is applied to the sound field rendering, and is implemented on the GPU cluster system. First, the subjective evaluation on the distance and directivity of sound source was carried out to examine the validity of the sound field rendering. Some demonstrations were performed for the numerical model of a concert hall with the volume capacity of 4,500 m$^3$ and the sampling frequency of 40 kHz. The calculated impulse responses were convolved with a soprano song, then they were reproduced by the 157ch surrounding loudspeaker array system. It is confirmed that listeners could perceive a part of rendered distance when the directivity of the sound source was rendered. The actual directivity of the sound source was next included to the sound field rendering by using the multi-channel contents recorded by the 157ch surrounding microphone array. It is confirmed that the realistic auralization can be realized including the directivity of the sound source. |
