Abstract(in English) Technique for automatic and low-loss fusion splice beween multicore fibers (MCFs) was demonstrated. For seven-core MCF, Low splice loss of less than 0.10 dB on average was realized by automatic core alignment with end view function and uniform discharge by swing electrode system. By using dual-ring 12-core MCF, it was confirmed that misalignment of automatic core alignment with end view function was less than 0.6 degree on average.
