Abstract(in English) | This report experimentally investigates intruder detection performance of MIMO sensor employing the antenna arrangement where the transmitting and receiving antennas are placed closely. 2×2 MIMO channel is measured using two sets of the antenna arrays, where each set has the transmitting and receiving antennas and they are arranged so as to direct their null pattern to each other. The intrusion detection is made when the channel correlation coefficient between the channels with and without intruder is sufficiently lowered. The channel measurement campaign was carried out in an indoor environment. The experimental results show that the antenna arrangement dealt with in this study provides the detection performance comparable to or higher than the conventional arrangement. |
