Abstract(in English) The world's first 0.15-mm-thick non-contact connector for Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) applications is presented. A vertical directional coupler with 20-dB directionality allows simultaneous two-channel communications. A fully balanced pulse transmitter fabricated in 90-nm CMOS technology achieved 2.3 Gb/s/channel, consumed 1.47 pJ/b and significantly suppressed EMI.
