Abstract(in English) Present R&D status of various types of high efficiency solar cells such as crystalline Si, thin film Si, CIGS, CdTe, III-V compound semiconductors, multi-junction, concentrator, organic, and quantum nano structures is presented. Their future prospects are discussed.
