Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Direct spectrum division (DSD) and sub-spectrum suppressed transmission are introduced to achieve highly efficient frequency usage on satellite transponder for satellite communication systems. Single-carrier modulated signal is directly divided into sub-spectra by DSD and some sub-spectra are suppressed at the transmitter in order to reduce total occupied bandwidth. We have proposed equalization processing with autologous spectrum regeneration (ASR) to suppress inter symbol interference (ISI) due to the sub-spectrum suppression for the receiver, and have clarified its performance by computer simulation in recent work. Since we have developed prototype transmitters that realize real-time processing of DSD-based sub-spectrum suppressed transmission and ASR equalization, in this paper we show the experimental evaluation of our proposal.
