Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a recommender system for dinner recipes. The decision making of dinner recipes is troublesome because we need to consider (1) a lot of candidate recipes (2) by taking into account various factors, and that (3) the decision occurs at every mealtime. Therefore, it would be useful if we could have a system that supports the decision making of recipes. In this research, we suppose that the main factors considered when deciding dinner recipes consist of food preference, nutrition, calorie, ease of cooking, and foodstuff stocks. Based on these factors, we propose a method to calculate a quantitative score for each factor, and to find the best weights among factors based on the user's sense of values or lifestyle. Aiming to integrate those factors into one quantitative score, we investigated the correlation between the ranking on recipes and scores of factors, and verified whether each factor is necessary in the decision making of dinner recipes. As a result, nutrition, calorie, ease of cooking, and foodstuff stocks except food preference showed a correlation with the user's ranking on recipes.
