Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Synchronization of time and frequency is necessary for any communication system, and determination of delay and Doppler of a channel is a fundamental problem in radar. The authors have recently proposed a delay and Doppler determination method which works in large delay and Doppler dispersions. Using a notion of templates, a two-parameter determination problem is separated into two one-parameter determination problems. A time-frequency synchronization method is said to satisfy Separable Property (SP), if delay and Doppler can be acquired separately and cooperatively. In this paper, we show that Gabor division/spread spectrum system (GD/S^3) satisfies the SP condition.
