Abstract(in English) We have proposed a PON fault location technique that uses end reflection beam and Brillouin gain analysis, which can locate individual fault points in branched optical fibers without the need to add optical components to the PON system. In this paper, we propose a technique for enhancing the dynamic range of that end reflection assisted Brillouin analysis, where frequency coded pulse trains are used for the probe and pump pulse to conduct multi-measurement at the same time. 12-frequency code multiplexing is used for monitoring 8-branched fibers, and signal to noise ratio is improved by 4.5 dB.
